> who, what and why is viewer?

the who and what is a matter of record - viewer is an electro-indie two piece comprising of tim wright [composer / producer] and a.b. johnson [vocal / lyrics]. why? because who else snarls and spits caustic social commentary over a glitchy, bass-heavy backdrop to create a unique yet accessible dance floor sound? apart from n-dubz… obviously.

> is that tim wright as in internationally renowned electronic music guru tim wright?

yeah that's the fella. he's had a number of releases under such pseudonyms as tubejerk, germ and moondog and had album and single releases on mute, tresor, general production recordings and pias. he's also had two recent number ones in the czech radio 1 charts with collaborator monika naceva. and a czech grammy nomination...

> so who's this a.b character then?

very little information is publicly available with regards to viewer's enigmatic frontman. you can gain insight into his disconsolate psyche by viewing his various blogs and video blogs.

> have you released any material?

yes. viewer released its debut e.p. and video "white noise" on stopstart records in november 2009.

> have you had any air play or press?

white noise was played a number of times by huw stephens on radio one. we received positive reviews in the u.k. and the u.s.

> who's that guy rapping and singing with a.b on white noise?

why that's the indefatigable mr toastie taylor – formerly of uk hip hop act new flesh. toastie is an affiliate of viewer. he appears on a number of tracks and occasionally teams up with the others to perform live.

> how often do you perform live?

we have a few proverbial irons in the fire. the best way to keep informed about up-coming performances is to follow us on facebook or twitter or to check the "updates" page on this site.

> omg! viewer is probably the best music i have ever heard. how can i buy your stuff?

you can't. not yet anyway. we are currently putting the finishing touches to our debut album and once that is done we'll be looking at ways to get it out there to all you lovely lucky people. keep up to date via the usual methods. in the mean time you can listen to us online by following the link to our jukebox page.
